Die werden sich wirklich kaputt lachen über uns bekloppte Erdenmenschen, Energieverschwendung wo auch immer man hinsieht, als ob es keine kommenden Generationen geben würde.

I think on earth day there was a big movement to have everyone turn off their lights for an hour or something. I don't remember the details. However the 'Wise Use' people (look it up!) were determined to counteract the possible impact of the crazy tree huggers by turning on all their lights.

I saw a bumpersticker on a state rep's car the other day. Remember in New Hampshire like every 5th person is a state rep. The sticker said 'Trees are americas best renewable energy source'. Now if only the trees didn't take generations to grow you may have a point. Go ask the people on Easter Island how deforestation worked for them.
